Overview

Clean Air and Clean Energy Campaign

Based in London Ontario, Clothesline Campaign promotes cleaner air and reduced carbon emissions through direct and efficient use of pure solar and wind energy to dry clothes on traditional reel to reel clotheslines.

Hang Your Hydro Bill Out To Dry

Drying laundry using air and time is not only environmentally friendly, but easier on your pocket book. A family of four using an electric dryer 4 hours per week will spend $240 dollars more on electricity in a year. Costs are expected to rise next year.

Contest: It's That Time of Year Again

The winners of last years clotheslines were so happy with their outdoor lines that the Clothesline Campaign has decided to run the contest again this year. Applicants can email info@clotheslinecampaign.org with their name, address and telephone number, and tell us why they would enjoy having an outdoor reel to reel linear clothesline. Five winners will be chosen. Help to save the planet and your pocketbook by using an outdoor clothesline.

Do It Yourself

You may want to check out the how-to videos that abound on YouTube and elsewhere on the net. Of course, the staff at the store where you purchase your clothesline should be happy to point out someone who can explain all about how it is done.

Or Get An Installer

Do you need someone to install a clothesline? Call Over 55 London 519-680-1464 or Deney from D.M.C. at 519-495-0801.

Get The Facts

Are you still wondering whether clotheslines are legal? Would you like to know what the second most electricity consuming appliance is in most households? Do you still need some convincing about the positive impact of drying with pure wind and sun? Get the facts.
